With a focus on branding, design for modern businesses and charities, editorial and children’s illustration, design for publication and screens, I bring a versatile approach to each project.
Originally from the Isle of Lewis, much of my illustrative work is inspired by the landscapes, culture, and stories of the Highlands and Islands, and my work reflects a strong sense of place.
I began studying Design and Innovation at The Open University in 2017 and then completed my BA (Hons) in Visual Communication and Design at UHI in 2024. In addition to this, I taught myself professional design software and design theories, which I have used in my freelance work since 2018.
I’m passionate about animal welfare, women’s rights, LGBT+ issues, education, music, fantasy, gaming, mental health, inclusivity, and sustainability.
My versatile skill set allows me to adapt to project needs and design creative solutions for clients by looking at the project from a variety of creative perspectives and think outside the box. I take a positive, collaborative approach to each project, ensuring that my clients’ visions are fully understood and brought to life in meaningful ways.
